However, the ending played out like they just couldn't wait to roll credits. That being said, it did take some effort. I actually think that the difficulty of Guacamelee is pretty close to perfect, at least based on my preferences. The ending events were over before I had a chance to take it all in. I know that there are two total endings, but they're. With the story being as developed as it is, the ending just seems so abrupt. Fun platforming, practical abilities, great music, map secrets, and very memorable bosses are all there. Aside from the final area of the game being polluted with enemies in large numbers, the portal mechanics being added in last minute, and the pretty difficult (at first glance) platforming difficulty spike, this game flows like melted butter over a freshly boiled lobster.
Anyone who's played it knows that the pacing is pretty consistent up to the final two areas. I feel a little let down by the ending of this game.
